Do you know the Inktober challenge?

Today I'm going to talk to you about Inktober, does it sound like something to you? If the answer is no, I give you a short summary. Inktober is an illustration challenge that was born on Instagram and takes place in October. It consists of a list of 31 words, one for each day of the month, which is published in the official account of the challenge. People who participate, draw a picture related to the word of the day and upload it to their IG account, it's important to use the hashtags #inktober or #inktober2019 (the year) so that others can find your drawing.

The challenge is so popular that on Instagram you can find thousands of posts a day and above all, many different lists to the official that are creating more and more illustrators, this allows you to participate following a list that fits your style, there are themes ones or with random words.

This is my fifth year participating with my personal account and this time we have decided to share it in esencia, every week we will publish a blog post with the corresponding illustrations. Do you like the idea? Here are 4 of the illustrations I did this week.

This year I have decided not to follow the official list, I have moved to the one created by illustrator Katnipp, I hope you like them! What I love about participating is that it forces me to put the batteries with a drawing a day and inspires me a lot, in fact some of these illustrations will soon be new prints that we will upload to the shop!
